My little girl just had a birthday. It being spring and all, she decided she wanted her guests to plant flowers. I talked her out of having them plant in her garden (she has about 4 square feet outdoors to enjoy) and instead have a flower they could each take home. We bought small pots from the home improvement store and a few four packs of flowers. Then I cut flowers with my cricut using the flower collection file offered in my SVG store. The children (ages 4-6) decorated their pots before I potted a flower in each. They turned out really cute. I was rather impressed with some of their design skills. I didn't even suggest layering or anything, yet they seemed to know exactly what they wanted. Here's the birthday girl with her flower. She doesn't understand yet the concept of using glue sparingly-- that's the blue stuff you see on her flowers- gluestick. :) Also a few of the pots the other children decorated, so you can see just how creative these little ones are.
